Dr. Paraskevi Papakyriakopoulou is a Post-doctoral researcher at the Pharmacy Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and holds a PhD in biopharmaceutics from the same department. Her research is focused on the development and biopharmaceutic/pharmacokinetic evaluation of drug delivery dosage forms, with special focus on nasal delivery. She also works as a researcher at the School of Chemical Engineering of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), in the context of CHIASMA HORIZON Resilience program. Her work is based on the development of Physiologically-based kinetic models for various cases of materials/chemicals. She has participated in the Erasmus Traineeship program both as a recent graduate at the University of Ferrara and as PhD student at Trinity College of Dublin, respectively. Additionally, she is co-author of 27 publications in esteemed peer-reviewed journals. Her work has been presented in several poster and oral presentations, and she has received the Best Abstract Award in the 2022 PharmSci360 conference of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.
